PUBLIC SECTOR

AI that serves the public and withstands scrutiny.

Public bodies must be able to explain every decision, protect citizens’ data and keep accountability with people. Taskflo is designed for exactly that.

PUBLIC CASE FILE

  1. Locate records
  2. Suggest redactions
  3. Officer release
Named officer approves every release. Illustrative process, not a customer deployment.

WHY AGENTS STALL HERE

Every decision may be challenged. Every step needs a record.

A public decision must be explainable, challengeable and owned by a named official.

  1. Decisions affecting citizens must be explainable.

  2. Data sovereignty is a requirement, not a preference.

  3. Accountability must stay with a named official.

PROCESS STUDIES

Casework that withstands an inquiry.

Information-request handling

Locate records and draft a response with suggested redactions. An officer approves every release.

  1. Locate
  2. Redact
  3. Officer review

Casework triage

Summarise incoming cases and route them by policy. Eligibility decisions remain with caseworkers.

  1. Summarise
  2. Route
  3. Caseworker

Grant application screening

Check completeness against published criteria and flag gaps. Assessors decide.

  1. Check
  2. Flag
  3. Assessor

Example workflows are illustrative designs, not customer case studies.

The three questions, answered for the public sector.

  1. Where does the data go?

Review your account boundary, model-service terms, region and network paths.

  2. Who can act on our behalf?

Declare tools, owners, limits and approval roles. Keep judgement with the qualified people.

  3. Can we prove what happened?

Review the version, decision record and evidence-retention controls together.

REGULATORY CONTEXT

Public-service uses need specific classification.

Specified eligibility decisions for public assistance and emergency-call classification are listed in Annex III. Public bodies may have fundamental rights impact assessment and registration duties. The amended Article 111 includes a 2 August 2030 deadline for providers and deployers of qualifying high-risk systems intended for public authorities; it is not a blanket extension for every new public-sector system.

Review each service against the Annex III use, the operator role and transitional provisions. A records-search assistant is not automatically equivalent to a system deciding eligibility. Define the official who can release information, the basis for each redaction and how an affected person can challenge a decision.

General information, not legal advice. EU AI Act and 2026 amendment. Your legal and professional advisers determine the applicable requirements.
